Church Hill Cottage is a pretty, detached Grade II listed home-from-home available as a holiday cottage throughout the year located in a conservation area offering self catering accommodation in one of the most picturesque corners of the Isle of Wight. It is of 16th century origin and forms part of the original group of thatched cottages adjacent to the well-known Godshill church. It has been fully refurbished to a high standard, sleeps 7 + 2 + cot with a secluded gravel/lawned rear garden with barbecue and seating area and outstanding countryside views.

The Isle of Wight caters for all interests and nowhere is more than a half hour drive from Godshill. The village of Godshill, with its thatched tea rooms and model village is a minutes walk down the hill but the cottage itself has beautiful views over the local countryside. Riding is available nearby and the surrounding countryside has an excellent network of footpaths and bridleways for both walking, mountain biking or horse riding; not to mention the numerous beaches, attractive coastline and the wealth of historical and geographical attractions. |

Godshill has a small post office and village shop whilst supermarket shopping is available at Sainsbury's and Morrisons which are both located within five miles. Meals can be taken in the village itself at either The Taverners or The Griffin Pub (which is particularly child-friendly) and there is also The Chequers within a couple of miles, which has won many awards for its facilities for children - as well as its excellent beer and food! |
